The MHDG heavy duty straight bolt-on shackle is manufactured with a C45 steel body and an alloy steel pin. The body is finished in white zinc plating and the pin is painted red.
The shackle is available only in 11 mm diameter with a CMU ranging from 500 to 13,500 kg.
The safety coefficient of the shackle is 5.
